Aardvark Studios - Unisex T-Shirt

Inspired by Botswana. Created by Lien van der Linde. Brought to life on a T-Shirt by BRAVER.

Introducing a special collaboration between BRAVER and Aardvark Studios, the Botswana-based textile design and printing studio founded by artist Lien van der Linde.

We first had the opportunity to print Lien’s beautiful artwork onto T-shirts in October 2026. But somewhere between seeing her intricate designs come to life on apparel and getting to know the person behind the work, it felt like a collaboration worth continuing. We loved the detail, the story and the opportunity to make her work available to more people.

Inspired by the natural world of Botswana

Featuring local flora and fauna inspired by the Okavango Delta, this design brings together the words Okavango Delta, Botswana and Tswii, delicate dragonflies and tiny dung beetles, with the kind of detail that invites you to look a little closer.

Lien’s original work centres on hand-carved lino stamps and hand-printed textiles, celebrating the often-overlooked beauty of the natural world. For this collaboration, the artwork has been carefully digitised for printing onto apparel, retaining the intricate details and character of her original hand-rendered designs.
